The Phoenix College women's soccer team has vaulted from No. 11 to No. 6 in this week's NJCAA Division II national poll after an impressive start to the 2025-26 season. The Bears are 2-0-2 overall (2-0-1 ACCAC) and 2-0-2 at home, highlighted by a 1-0 victory over then-No. 4 Scottsdale Community College on September 13.
Phoenix College's attack has been led by freshman standout Selena Flores Craig, who has already posted nine goals and one assist for 19 points through four matches, while Carmen Coronado has added five goals and six assists. Giselle German has chipped in five goals and one assist, and midfielders Camille Harris and Kiara Sanchez have combined for six assists to spark the offense.
On the back line, goalkeeper Bijou Holm has recorded 13 saves and one shutout in 315 minutes of action, anchoring a defense that has allowed just four goals on 28 shots through four contests.
The Bears will look to continue their climb in the rankings as they head into their next conference matches.
