Head Coach Kristine Kincaid enters her 10th season at the helm of the Phoenix College women’s basketball program. She has over 20 years of experience at the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA and is no stranger to the ACCAC conference. As an athlete she helped guide Central Arizona College to it first Women’s Basketball National Championship in 1989. In 1993 she helped secure University Northern Montana State to it’s First National Championship making her the only female athlete to have two National Championships as a player and voted most valuable player of each National Tournament. Entering the coaching field she returned to Central Arizona College in 1998 and helped again assemble Centrals second National Championship. Kincaid had a few stops before landing her Head Coaching position at Phoenix College. In 2015 the Bears attend the National Tournament and finished 8th in the Country. Kincaid’s dedication to achieving success both on and off the floor has been apparent. While in charge the Bears have maintained a very high standard with achieving Academic All American Teams since Kincaid’s start at Phoenix College. Development is a very important part of her program, with 5 All American athletes during her time here at Phoenix College. Her goal and commitment is to prepare these young women for the future, not only to transfer to the four year level but to help lead them in life as well. At the time of this recording, the Kincaid family consists of a daughter Gabbi, entering her freshman year at the university competing in swimming.
