
In a weekend filled with ups and downs, Bears Athletics showcased their prowess in various sports:
Women's Soccer: The No.1 ranked women's soccer team continued their dominance with a 2-0 victory over the No. 7 ranked Pima Aztecs. Chloe Corral and Kiara Sanchez delivered crucial goals in the 39th and 65th minutes, respectively, solidifying the Bear's perfect 4-0 season start.
Men's Soccer: The No. 2 ranked men's soccer team secured a significant win against the No. 7 ranked Pima Aztecs, who suffered their first loss of the season. Ezekiel Anaya and Gerik Jakubowski shone with goals in the 10th and 31st minutes, keeping the Bears undefeated to start the season.
Women's Volleyball: Women's Volleyball faced a tough challenge with a loss to Glendale Community College. They're determined to bounce back as they embark on their first road trip this season, facing Arizona Western College.
Cross Country: Both Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled North for the George Kyte Classic. The women's team showcased their strength with three athletes in the top 15 times in Region 1 Division 2. Fernanda Hernandez secured the 5th position, followed by Karla Martinez at 9th and Sofia Miranda at 13th.
