As the Phoenix College Bears wrapped up their 2025 baseball campaign, three standout players—Brigden Smith, Joey Parrish, and Carson Bittner—emerged as leaders on the diamond, earning accolades and respect for their outstanding performances throughout the season.

Brigden Smith – Offensive Powerhouse

Sophomore outfielder Brigden Smith proved to be one of the most consistent and explosive bats in the lineup. Appearing in 43 games and starting 33, Smith posted a remarkable .435 batting average, ranking among the top hitters in the conference. He recorded 67 hits, including 9 doubles, 6 triples, and 3 home runs, while tallying 23 RBIs and an impressive 12 stolen bases.

Smith also posted a .630 slugging percentage and .494 on-base percentage, showcasing his complete offensive toolkit. His efforts earned him First Team All-ACCAC, First Team All-Region and Golden Glove nominee honors.

Joey Parrish – Lights-Out on the Mound

The sophomore right-hander served as a dominant bullpen arm, making 20 appearances with a stellar 2.72 ERA. In 36.1 innings pitched, Parrish struck out 46 batters, walked just 12, and held opponents to an astonishing .187 batting average.

His ability to shut down opponents in critical situations earned him the role of a high-leverage reliever, collecting two saves along the way. Parrish was named First Team All-ACCAC and First Team All-Region.

Carson Bittner – Consistent Contributor

Carson Bittner brought versatility and production to the Bears' offense, playing in 37 games with 27 starts. Bittner hit .362 on the year with 42 hits, including 8 doubles and a triple. He drove in 19 runs, scored 23, and maintained a .417 on-base percentage, proving himself a reliable presence in the heart of the lineup.

Beyond the numbers, Bittner was a steady influence on and off the field, showing leadership through his work ethic and competitive spirit. His season earned him Second Team All-ACCAC and Second Team All Region recognition.
