Coach Schneider, Head Baseball Coach at Phoenix College, boasts a rich history in the world of baseball. His journey commenced as a pitcher at Virginia Commonwealth University (1997-1998) and Norfolk State University (1999-2000) before being drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 12th round of the 2000 draft. With the Angels he showcased his skills and dedication from the year 2000 to 2005 playing AAA for all of the 2005 season. After the Angels, Coach Schneider transitioned to a pivotal role with the Reno Silversox between 2006 and 2008, contributing both as a player and coach. Coach Schneider holds the pitching record for Saves in a Season as the Closer for the championship team in 2006.

Coach Schneider started as an Assistant Coach at Phoenix College in 2012. Notably, he took on the role of Head Coach for the Red Rocks in the Arizona Collegiate Wood Bat League from 2011 to 2016, and led his team to win the league championship in 2012.

The Milwaukee Brewers recognized Coach Schneider's expertise, and he joined their ranks in 2017, initially as a Rehab Coach and then also adding Special Projects with some of the game's top Major League players.

Schneider's affiliation with Phoenix College has been enduring and transformative. Starting as an assistant coach in 2012, he dedicated 11 years to shaping and nurturing talent within the program. In 2022, Schneider's journey came full circle as he assumed the role of Head Coach, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for the game to the Phoenix College baseball community.

 
Coach Schneider and his wife Cory have three children, Gabriel, Michaela, and Payton.
