Men’s Soccer Earns No. 4 Seed in NJCAA National Tournament

The Phoenix College Bears Men's Soccer team has clinched the No. 4 seed in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament, entering as an at-large bid after an intense overtime loss to Pima in the Region 1 Championship. This will mark the Bears' fifth consecutive appearance on the national stage—a testament to their enduring excellence.

Apart from their two matches against Pima, the Bears remain undefeated this season, largely due to the standout performances of Vince Acosta, who has scored an impressive 25 goals. We are set for a highly competitive run in Pool D.

The Bears will first face another at-large team, Northeast Community College, on November 17 at 4:30 pm CST. They'll then match up against Mercer County Community College on November 19 at 4:30 pm CST. Mercer, riding a 13-game win streak and boasting the second-most shutouts in Division II.
