Sergio Campos enters his first year as an assistant coach of Phoenix College Men’s Soccer team for the 2022/2023 season, having started working with the team in March of 2022.
Previously Campos spent a year as an assistant coach for the Cortez High School boys' soccer program from 2021-2022. Campos first season with Cortez ended short in the state Quarterfinals.
Campos brings local ties and a wealth of knowledge on Arizona soccer to the program.
Campos comes to Phoenix College having coached club soccer since 2017 locally with AZFC Select before the club’s merger to Arizona Surf in 2022.
In his playing days, Campos played locally for Cisco Soccer Club and Phoenix Tuzos where he was a state cup finalist twice and a onetime semifinalist.
