Riley Martens, a sophomore from Mesa, AZ, and Desert Ridge High School alum, had an outstanding sophomore season, earning a spot on the 2024 NFCA NJCAA Division II South Region Team. As an infielder for Phoenix College, Martens demonstrated impressive power and consistency at the plate with a .377 batting average over 51 games. She hit 17 home runs and drove in 62 runs, contributing significantly to her team's offensive output. Her impact was felt primarily through her powerful hitting and run production.
