In an intense top-10 showdown, No. 6 Phoenix College pulled off a thrilling doubleheader sweep over No. 5 Pima Community College

Game 1: Phoenix College 3, Pima 2

Game 2: Phoenix College 9, Pima 8 (8 Innings)

The second game was a back-and-forth thriller that ended with Phoenix College walking it off in extra innings.

• The Bears jumped out to an early 3-1 lead in the first, powered by Katie Hofmann's three-run home run.

• Pima stormed back, scoring five runs between the second and third innings to take a 6-3 lead.

• Phoenix fought back again, scoring twice in the fourth to make it 6-5.

• The teams traded late runs, with Pima tying the game at 6-6 in the eighth before J'kaia Graves came up clutch with a game-winning, bases-clearing double in the bottom half to seal the 9-8 win.

• Sydnee Taylor (3-0) picked up the win after getting the final out in the top of the eighth.
