Phoenix College’s Katie Hofmann and Harli Noriega Named NFCA Division II All-American

Phoenix College catcher Katie Hofmann has been named 2025 NFCA NJCAA Division II First Team All-American and NFCA NJCAA DII All-Region, capping off a remarkable sophomore season. 

Hofmann, a standout from Scottsdale and a Desert Mountain High School alum, was a key leader for the Bears both offensively and defensively. She finished the year with a .483 batting average, 21 home runs, and 97 RBIs over 61 games—ranking among the best hitters in the country. Behind the plate, she posted a .991 fielding percentage and helped manage the Bears' pitching staff with veteran poise.

Earlier this season, she was also named ACCAC First Team and Div. II All-Region for her consistent performance and impact throughout conference play.


Phoenix College second baseman Harli Noriega has been named 2025 NJCAA Division II Second Team All-American and NFCA NJCAA DII All-Region, capping a standout sophomore campaign with national recognition.

Noriega, a key contributor for the Bears, also earned ACCAC First Team and NJCAA DII All-Region honors for her consistent performance throughout the season.

Offensively, she was a powerhouse—batting .458 overall and an incredible .515 in conference play. She totaled 88 hits, 17 doubles, and 21 home runs, driving in 70 RBIs and scoring 51 runs across 59 games. Her .875 slugging percentage and .468 OBP reflect just how dangerous she was at the plate.

Defensively, Noriega was just as dependable, turning 15 double plays and recording a .953 fielding percentage at second base.
