
Phoenix College sophomore catcher Katie Hofmann capped off an outstanding 2025 season by racking up multiple national and regional accolades, firmly establishing herself as one of the premier players in NJCAA Division II softball.
Hofmann was named a 2025 NJCAA Division II First Team All-American, recognizing her elite performance both offensively and defensively. She was also selected as the Diamond Sports/NFCA Catcher of the Year, awarded to the top catcher in NJCAA Division II.
Her dominance at the plate and behind it also earned her a spot on the NFCA NJCAA Division II First Team All-American and the NFCA First Team All-Region. Regionally, Hofmann was recognized on the NJCAA Division II All-Region Team and named to the ACCAC First Team.
Statistically, Hofmann finished the season batting .483 with 21 home runs and 97 RBIs, while maintaining a .991 fielding percentage and commanding the field as the Bears' defensive leader.

Phoenix College pitcher Yasmine Bernal wrapped up a stellar 2025 campaign by being named to the NJCAA Division II Second Team All-American. The sophomore right-hander was also recognized as the ACCAC First Team Pitcher, Division II All-Region selection, and earned Region I Division II Pitcher of the Year.
Bernal appeared in 37 games, starting 29, and compiled an impressive 26-6 record with 7 shutouts and 204 strikeouts over 187.1 innings pitched. She held opponents to a 2.28 ERA overall, and a 1.60 ERA in conference play. Her command and poise helped anchor the Bears' pitching staff all season long.

Phoenix College standout J'Kaia Graves capped off an incredible season by being named to the NJCAA Division II Second Team All-American. She also received the New Balance/NFCA Golden Shoe Award, which is given to the nation's top base stealer. In addition, she was honored as the Region I Division II Player of the Year, earned ACCAC First Team recognition, and was named to the NJCAA Division II All-Region Team.
Graves was a force on the basepaths and at the plate. She finished the season hitting .510 overall (.533 in conference) with 106 hits, 86 runs, and 72 stolen bases—ranking among the national leaders in several categories. Her on-base and slugging percentages were .539 and .611, respectively. She also added 10 doubles, 4 triples, and drove in 42 runs.
