Women's Soccer Shines with Five All-Region Honors, Carmen Coronado Named Player of the Year

Phoenix College Women's Soccer celebrated outstanding individual achievements as five players earned All-Region awards. Leading the honors, freshman forward Carmen Coronado was awarded the prestigious Player of the Year title, recognizing her crucial role for the Bears this season.

Joining Coronado on the All-Region First Team were teammates Renata Manriquez, Giselle German, and Chloe Corral, each acknowledged for their exceptional performances and contributions throughout the season. Goalkeeper Irma Palominos also received well-deserved recognition with a spot on the All-Region Second Team for her pivotal role in Phoenix College's successful defense.

These accolades highlight Phoenix College's talent and teamwork, bolstering the team's momentum as they head to the NJCAA National Tournament in Huntsville, Alabama, from November 17-23. With these honors, the Bears aim to continue their strong season and make their mark on the national stage.
