The Phoenix College Bears women's soccer team earned a 4–0 road victory over Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Saturday evening.
The Bears set the tone early when Giselle German scored just two minutes into the match off a cross from Camille Harris. German struck again in the 16th minute, this time converting a setup from Carmen Coronado to make it 2–0 heading into halftime.
Phoenix carried the momentum into the second half as Camille Harris added a goal in the 60th minute off assists from Coronado and Kiara Sanchez. Coronado capped off the scoring just four minutes later with an unassisted strike from 10 yards out.
The Bears controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Coyotes 20–2 and earning seven corner kicks to Chandler-Gilbert's three. Goalkeeper Bijou Holm recorded the shutout with two saves in 90 minutes of play.
