Phoenix College's cross country athletes demonstrated remarkable achievements at the 2023 NJCAA Cross Country Nationals in Huntsville, Alabama. Coached by Head Coach Jeffrey Goldstein, Sofia Miranda and Pedro Gomez delivered lifetime best performances, with Miranda securing the 213th spot and Gomez finishing 150th. Despite the challenging competition involving over five hundred athletes, the team showcased resilience and determination. Coach Goldstein expressed enthusiasm, emphasizing the valuable experience gained at the national championships and the program's readiness for the journey ahead.
"The past weekend at NJCAA Cross Country National Championships was a great experience for our program and gave us a little taste of the next level.
