Title: Assistant Coach

Logan Ryan was named Men’s Basketball assistant coach in 2021. He brings his expertise in shooting, decision making, and strength & conditioning/sports performance.

Coach Ryan is originally from Northern California, where he coached for over 8 years in The Bay Area and Sacramento. Previously he coached at the collegiate level for Merritt College Men’s Basketball (assistant, 2020-21), Sacramento State University Men’s Basketball (student assistant, 2015-17), and Diablo Valley College Men’s Basketball (student assistant, 2014–2015). At the high school varsity level, Ryan has coached for Christian Brothers (assistant, 2019-20), and Alexander Twilight (head coach, 2017-19). Throughout the years Coach Ryan has head coached for several youth and high school AAU programs.

Ryan played high school basketball at College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, CA. During his senior year in 2011 he was named all-league, selected for the Contra Costa County All-Star game, and was a 2x Contra Costa Times player of the week. Ryan went on to play collegiately for Diablo Valley College and Los Medanos College before repeated ACL injuries transitioned him to coaching. He holds a BS in Kinesiology from Sacramento State University, and training certificates in CSCS, CPT, and PES.

Ryan and his girlfriend, Aleah, reside in Phoenix.
